Mondi Lodge: romantic treehouse Yuana

Mondi Lodge is a small, eco-friendly lodge on Curaçao with 6 unique wooden bungalows on stilts; all of which are equipped with maximum comfort. Each bungalow has its own style. There are three 1-bedroom bungalows, two 2-bedroom bungalows and a tree house available.

One of the bungalows is also accessible for wheelchair users and contains an adapted toilet, sink and shower.

Mondi Lodge is centrally located with 4 beaches in a radius of 2 kilometers and a 10-minute drive from the airport and the colorful capital Willemstad.

The atmosphere at Mondi Lodge is of a relaxed, romantic kind and very private; serenity is easy to find here during the day and evening. The swimming pool and the cozy outdoor kitchen with barbecue facilities are available to our guests at all times. The large, tropical garden is full of colorful flowers and local wildlife such as iguanas, (tree) lizards, hummingbirds, parakeets and land crabs can easily be spotted. Neighboring flamingos can be observed flying over to their nesting site!

Our local, multilingual staff continue to support and improve our personalized service where possible. Our breakfast specials (which are included in our price) are received with great enthusiasm!

Yuana is a very romantic tree house with a spacious bedroom downstairs with toilet and outdoor shower. There is a staircase to the upper floor, which is an open veranda with a large lounge sofa, hammock, hanging chair, balcony with seating, kitchenette and dining area with three bar stools. You imagine yourself in the jungle because of the beautiful tree that surrounds you.

We expect our guests to behave in generally accepted manners. We love all people, whether black or white, gay or straight, tall or short, fat or thin, male or female, healthy or disabled. We expect you to treat every person (from guest to employee) with respect.

Pets are not allowed. We have our own pets, all of whom are very friendly. Smoking is allowed outside on the veranda, not in the bedroom or bathroom.

Within two kilometers there are four beaches (Kokomo, Blue Bay, Boka Sami and Snake Bay), a protected area with salt pans with flamingos, a mountain and protected natural area perfect for hiking. There is a supermarket just down the street and a few restaurants in Boka, Blue Bay and Sint Michiel.

The colorful capital is about a 10 minute drive away, as is the airport. The most beautiful beaches on the island at Westpunt are a 15-minute drive away.
